🪫Configuración de consumo y optimización de batería en dispositivos móviles Android

Configuración de ahorro de batería

Fuente: Android Battery Saving Settings - Driversnote Knowledge Base (helpscoutdocs.com)

Most Android devices have a built-in battery optimizer which manages the device’s apps in order to conserve battery. Unfortunately, these Battery Optimization settings terminate background apps including fitness apps and mileage tracking apps such as Driversnote. This results in coordinate gaps and even missed trips. While the settings differ for each device, you will usually find these settings under Battery Optimization, Doze, (Deep) Sleeping apps and Battery Saver.

This article will help you find and exclude Driversnote from the battery optimization settings on your Android phone.

If you are not sure how to find your Android's operating system, follow these steps:

General Android Check-List

We’ve created a check-list below to ensure that our app functions correctly on your device. Please note that the following steps are general. You can find specific troubleshooting for individual devices at the end of the article.

  • Make sure you have Driversnote's latest version - Search for Driversnote in the Google Play Store. If there is a new version you will see Update.

  • Ensure that your phone's Battery Saver is not enabled

  • Make sure that your Location is set to "Always"
Here's how to make sure your Location settings are correct

  • General Battery Optimization:
    1. Go to Settings on your Android device
    2. Search for Device care or Battery
    3. Tap Battery Optimization
    4. From the list of apps, search for Driversnote
    5. Select Don't Optimize
    6. Tap Done

Please note

Battery and App management settings will often reset when either the phone’s software is updated, an app is not used very often or an app is deleted and reinstalled. We encourage you to check all settings weekly. Open the Driversnote app daily to not only check that your trips were logged correctly but also to “remind” your phone not to kill it - this will prevent the app from being shut down by your phone.
